        端粒是染色体末端重复的核苷酸元素,保护染色体免于退化和遗传信息丢失。正常的二倍体细胞在每个细胞周期中都会失去端粒。因此,端粒长度会随着时间的推移而减少,并可能预测寿命。端粒缩短对健康状况有负面影响,并与许多健康问题有关,包括衰老和癌症。准确和一致的端粒长度定量在细胞生物学的许多方面都很重要,如染色体不稳定、DNA修复、衰老、凋亡、细胞功能障碍和肿瘤发生。

      ScienCell's Rat端粒长度定量定量qtlq试剂盒(Absolute Rat Telomere Length Quantification qPCR Assay Kit, ARTLQ)设计用于直接测量大鼠细胞群体的平均端粒长度。端粒引物集识别并扩增端粒序列。单拷贝参考(single copy reference, SCR)引物集识别并扩增大鼠17号染色体上100 bp长的区域,作为数据归一化的参考。已知端粒长度的参考基因组DNA样本作为计算目标样本端粒长度的参考。精心设计的引物保证了:(1)高效可靠的定量;(ii)无非特异性扩增。每个引物通过qPCR、熔体曲线分析和凝胶电泳验证扩增特异性,模板序列稀释验证扩增效率。
