I plan to use this product for in vitro blood brain barrier. So I have a few questions before I purchase this product 1. How many passages the cells can go through without loss of original characteristics 2. Can I prepare frozen stocks with these cells 3. What is the reported TEER with ScienCell HBMECs.

Hello Pooja,
It is highly recommended to use these cells at earliest passage right after revival without passaging. We do not recommend that customers re-freeze them for future use since it would damage the cells. In addition, #1000 HBMEC are out of stock.
thank you for your interest in our products.
