人口腔角质细胞:

       

       口腔黏膜角化细胞是口腔疾病主要屏障,保护局部细胞免受微生物和化学物质造成的伤害。它们通过不断产生或受刺激后产生的细胞因子,刺激参与促发炎症反应,这意味着它们可能通过炎症过程潜在地参与口腔感染的调控,该过程需要不同的白细胞介素参与,如IL-1?和IL-18。口腔黏膜角化细胞表达多种不同的细胞标志物,该表达受到目标基因转录过程中钙素诱导变化的影响。口腔黏膜角化细胞与特征明显的皮肤角质细胞在结构和功能上有很大的相似性,并且为研究角质细胞的生物学特性、无限增殖过程、恶性转化提供了良好的模型。    


        人口腔黏膜角化细胞(HOK)提取于人口腔黏膜组织,原代冻存。每管含有细胞数>5×105cells/ml,此细胞通过Cytokeratine-8, -18 and -19免疫荧光染色验证,经测试不含有HIV-1、HBV、HCV、支原体、细菌、酵母和真菌。细胞可以达到15倍增。

Is HOK (human oral keratinocytes) a primary or immortalized cell line?

Dear customer,
All our cells are normal, primary cells. 

Question2:
I use poly-L-lysine to coat my plate to culture HOK(Human Oral Keratinocytes) cells. I also found out that we have poly-D-lysine. Can I use poly-D-lysine to coat my plate and culture HOK or other primary cells?

Hi Mary,
Thanks for asking! Although we have not tested it, poly-D-lysine should work for these cells.
