成纤维细胞是最常见的类型的乳腺间质细胞。乳腺间质细胞分化为成纤维细胞,脂肪细胞或血管结构的一种激素,substatum-dependent方式,并可以解释戏剧性的变化在正常乳腺间质成分发展和肿瘤发生[1]。基质细胞和肿瘤细胞之间的交互是发挥重要作用在癌症生长和进展。乳腺间质成纤维细胞表达和产生细胞因子如科幻女巫在乳腺癌中扮演的角色[2]。
