CAL-62 细胞系于 1988 年从一位 70 岁白人女性的甲状腺右叶中建立,并已广泛应用于甲状腺未分化癌的研究。这些人类上皮样细胞表现出独特的单层生长模式,并表现出明显的致瘤特性,使其成为甲状腺癌进展体内研究的重要模型。当移植到免疫缺陷裸鼠体内时,CAL-62 细胞表现出强大的形成肿瘤的能力,为分析肿瘤动力学和评估实时生物环境中的潜在治疗策略提供了一种实用有效的模型。
