产品介绍

ACHN细胞系来源于一位22岁白人男性肾腺癌广泛转移的恶性胸腔积液。该细胞系于1979年11月建立,随后将癌细胞直接播种到含有Eagle's MEM和10% FBS的培养瓶中。在150天的时间里,细胞被维持并在体外传代。随后,将这些细胞皮下接种到裸鼠体内,在四周内形成可触及的局部侵袭性肿瘤。该细胞系具有致瘤性,在接种107个细胞的裸鼠中100%(5/5)诱导肿瘤,21天内肿瘤发生。
ACHN细胞的特点是贴壁生长模式和表达特异性同工酶,包括G6PD (B型)。该细胞系也因其对人类干扰素和干扰素诱导剂的反应而闻名,使其在抗增殖研究中特别有用。裸鼠原始ACHN细胞和从肿瘤中恢复的ACHN细胞在人类干扰素的存在下都表现出生长抑制,这突出了它们在探索干扰素治疗肾癌疗效的研究中的潜在应用。
ACHN 细胞系是癌症研究的重要工具,特别是在肾腺癌方面。它是研究致瘤性、转移行为以及干扰素对癌细胞增殖影响的重要模型。它在体内形成肿瘤并对干扰素治疗作出反应的能力为开发和测试针对肾细胞癌的新治疗方法提供了强大的平台。
