产品介绍

COLO 205是一种人结肠癌细胞系,最初由T·U·Sample等人于1957年从一位70岁白人男性结肠癌患者的腹水中分离得到。在取出液体标本之前,患者已经用5-氟尿嘧啶治疗了4-6周。这些细胞具有上皮细胞形态,广泛用于结直肠癌相关的生物医学研究,尤其是在癌症生物学、药物反应和转移机制的研究领域。

COLO 205细胞具有超三倍体核型,并且在异种移植到免疫缺陷小鼠中时,能够形成高分化腺癌。这些细胞表达多种与致癌和肿瘤抑制途径相关的关键蛋白,使其成为药理学实验和癌症研究的宝贵模型。它们对肿瘤坏死因子相关凋亡诱导配体(TRAIL)的反应性,使它们适合用于凋亡研究。

此外,COLO 205细胞已被广泛用于研究多种化疗药物的药效学,为理解结直肠癌治疗中的药物作用机制和耐药性提供了重要见解。利用COLO 205细胞系的研究显著推进了我们对结直肠腺癌典型生物学行为的理解,包括细胞增殖、分化以及与抗癌药物的相互作用。

注意事项:
COLO 205细胞低密度形态呈圆形,高密度时形态呈大部分悬浮细胞为圆形和少量贴壁细胞为圆形和小纺锤形。80%的细胞可以直接冲下来,余下的细胞可以选择消化收集。
